This is a fanastic addition to the Dog Back Pack that I bought too. It'll be good for protecting him from too much sun as we go on longer adventures.

Works good for rainfall protection. Good construction. Not perfect sun protection in northern latitudes; I have to supplement the carrier with some sunscreen on the kid's face and hands. Still a good buy.
