There is no charge for repairing damage that has occurred through product defect.   There will be a small charge for fixing any damage that has been caused by misuse or by normal wear-and-tear.  Zippers are specifically guaranteed for one year, and so any zipper repairs after that time will be charged.

All products returned for repair must be clean! Please wash and remove all personal items, animal hairs, dirt, or other debris.

How to Clean Your Bag

Most Tough Traveler products can be machine washed. First, check to see if your product has a metal frame or a large foam panel.  If so, see if there is a zipper or opening that allows you to remove the frame/panel.  Machine wash on a gentle setting with a mild detergent and cold water only.  Do not use fabric softeners or other additives.  Air dry only.

For products with a foam panel or metal frame that cannot be removed, hand wash in cold water and air dry.

If your product has loose threads or fraying, you should trim off the threads and melt the edge of the fabric with a lighter, candle, or soldering iron before washing, as agitation can worsen the fraying.  For extensive fraying, please clean off as much as possible with a damp cloth or sponge and send the product back to us for repair!
